应该在1950后，到20世纪初。可以知道他在2006年把该诗选作wpa也就是the war poets association的网站上。

Vernon Scannell (b. 1922) has been publishing his poetry since the 1950s, but seems to be less well-known than he deserves, despite being the recipient of the Heinemann Award for Literature and the Cholmondely Poetry Prize.
